  A NOVEL OBJECTIVE FUNCTION FOR DIRECTIONAL OVERCURRENT RELAYS COORDINATION

Abstract    Directional overcurrent relays (DOCRs) are widely used to protect power systems. For optimal coordination of DOCRs, several techniques have been proposed to solve this problem. A common way of optimal coordination of DOCRs is using evolutionary algorithms such as genetic algorithm (GA). In this paper, a novel strategy for DOCRs coordination is proposed. In the proposed strategy, a new objective function (OF) is introduced. The proposed objective function can removed mis-coordination between paired relays and can result in better coordination. Proposed OF is applied to 6-bus and 30-bus sample networks.

چکیده    رله های جریان زیاد جهت دار، بطور وسیعی در شبکه های قدرت مورد استفاده قرار می گیرند. برای هماهنگی بهینه رله های جریان زیاد جهت دار روش های متفاوتی پیشنهاد شده است. یکی از روش های مرسوم برای هماهنگی این رله ها، استفاده از تکنیک های هوش مصنوعی مانند الگوریتم ژنتیک می باشد.در این مقاله، روش جدیدی برای هماهنگی رله های جریان زیاد پیشنهاد شده است. در این روش پیشنهادی تابع هدفی جدید معرفی می شود. تابع هدف پیشنهادی جدید می تواند ناهماهنگی ها میان زوج رله ها را حذف کرده و موجب هماهنگی بهتری میان آن ها شود. تابع هدف پیشنهادی در شبکه های 6 و 30 باسه بکار گرفته شده است.
